PRIYANKA ROY | KATHAK

Srimati Priyanka Roy Polley is a renowned Kathak exponent known for her expressive grace and rhythmic precision. Trained under Sri Amal Raj Busnate, Sri Pradipto Niogi (Jaipur Gharana), and Smt. Madhumita Roy (Lucknow Gharana), she continues advanced training with Sri Souvik Chakraborty. A Master's in Kathak from Rabindra Bharati University, her art blends Bhava, Laya, Gat, and Abhinaya with feminine aesthetics. She has performed at Khajuraho Festival, National Youth Festival (Thiruvananthapuram), NSS Festival (Nainital), National Games (Guwahati), Winter Carnival (Manali), Beach Festival (Puri), Barsha and Baishakhi Utsav (Bhubaneswar), and choreography projects for Tara Muzik. A decorated performer, she has won multiple national awards and was a “Jugal Srimal” scholar from Tagore Foundation. As a passionate teacher, she has taught at Kendriya Vidyalaya and currently at Delhi Public School, Howrah, training students who have excelled at national stages.

PRITAM POLLEY | TABLA

Pritam Polley is a distinguished tabla artist and gold medalist, having secured 1st class 1st in M.A. Tabla from Rabindra Bharati University. A graded artist of All India Radio, he has been an active performer for over 20 years, presenting solo recitals and accompanying renowned musicians across India. His playing reflects a deep command over rhythm, clarity of bols, and an aesthetic sensitivity rooted in tradition. With a rich performance portfolio spanning classical concerts, festivals, and collaborative works, Pritam has earned a respected place in the Indian classical music community. His dedication to the art of tabla continues to inspire both audiences and aspiring percussionists.

KASHMIRI KOTOKY | VOCAL

Kashmiri Kotoky is a classically trained vocalist specializing in Kheyal, holding an M.A. and B.A. in Vocal Music from Rabindra Bharati University and an M.Phil from Gauhati University. She was awarded the prestigious Sangeetacharya Girija Shankar Chakraborty Prize for securing the highest marks in B.A. Vocal Music in 2008, presented by the Governor of West Bengal. A B-Grade All India Radio artist (Dibrugarh) in Light Music, she earned top honors in Kheyal and Raga Pradhan Geet at state-level competitions. Her scholarly work includes dissertations on Ustad Bade Ghulam Ali Khan and a comparative study of Bhupen Hazarika and Akshaya Kumar Mohanty. She has participated in esteemed workshops such as the Bhupendra Sangeet Workshop in Kolkata. With over a decade of teaching experience, she has taught at Dibrugarh University, Army Public School Jorhat, South City International School, and others—dedicated to nurturing the next generation of classical musicians.

RISHIN MALLICK | KEYBOARD

Rishin Mallick is a versatile musician, sound designer, composer, and educator with over 20 years of experience in music performance, production, and pedagogy. Formally trained under Trinity College London and ABRSM, he currently teaches music at R.P. Goenka International School and has previously served at prestigious institutions like South City International School, Carmel Convent (Kolkata), Tagore International (New Delhi), SRN International (Jaipur), and Dr. Tobgyel School (Thimphu). He began his career as an Assistant Sound Recordist under National Award-winner Chinmoy Nath and composed for two Doordarshan-aired regional films. A co-founder of the bands Prithibi, Abhilasha, and Shiny Happy People, his contributions to the indie rock scene remain significant. Deeply passionate about the transformative power of music, Rishin continues to inspire young minds to explore music as a medium of empathy, creativity, and social change.

NISHIPADMA BARUAH | PAINTING

Nishipadma Baruah is a multifaceted artist and educator with over 16 years of experience in fine arts, specializing in watercolour, pencil sketching, acrylic, and oil painting. A graduate with a B.A. and LLB, she holds the prestigious Ratna in Art from the Sarbabharatiya Sangeet-O-Sanskriti Parishad. Trained under the School of Fine Arts, her artistic journey reflects a deep commitment to both technique and expression. Her work embodies a blend of realism and imagination, capturing themes inspired by nature, culture, and human emotion. Over the years, she has nurtured a passion for visual storytelling and continues to inspire emerging artists through her dedication to the craft. Her artworks have been appreciated in various local and regional exhibitions, and she remains an active contributor to the cultural landscape through teaching and creative practice.
